There's been a flood of videos from major news outlets in the past day.

What's your take on Mark?
How do you feel about his brand?
Between him and the legal system, whose side are you leaning towards?

I'm leaning towards keeping children safe from inappropriate postings. At the end of the day, no matter how many times Zuckeberg apologizes, his number 1 priority is and will always be profit.

The New Mexico lawsuit was brought after an undercover investigation allegedly revealed instances of sexually explicit content being served to minors. The lawsuit argues that Meta's algorithms allegedly promote sex and exploitation content to users and that Facebook and Instagram lack "effective" age verification.

There is also a concern over the anount of children committing suicide because of Facebook's failure to crack down on hate speech, sexual harassment and bullying. Instead of apologizing, Mark should be spending more time and resources to figure out how to keep his sites safer and creeps and bullies off.

The truth of the matter is that when it comes to Facebook and the rest, our kids are not safe. There is no age restriction, and anyone can just join and start getting adult contents from people.

The big question is if there is anything that Meta would really do to stop all these illegal child contents. Banning of accounts propagating such? Doesn't stop it at all as they would always open alternate accounts to continue such.

Very true, one can easily open an account and change their age and boom they are good to go.
