Willis Gibson, a 13-year-old teenager from Oklahoma is believed to be the very first human player of the game to successfully beat the Nintendo classic video game, Tetris.

It has been 34 years since Tetris was released and Willis Gibson was able to reach level 157 in the game in just 38 minutes which eventually caused the game to crash.

Until just recently, players of Tetris believed that it was only possible to get to level 29 and no further.

Willis Gibson also known as Blue Scuti on YouTube has posted a video of his achievement which shows him breaking the overall score of three other Tetris world records.

Other gamers are now showing an interest in Tetris again which is seeing them compete to try and beat the record made by Willis.
